The August 2011 issue of J-14 Magazine became available on newsstands last July 12, and Chasters who bought copies were in for a big thrill - as Charice was proclaimed the No. 2 Hottest Girl in J-14′s Hot List.

No. 1 on the list is Miley Cyrus who stole the top spot from Selena Gomez (who got multiple first place finishes in past Hot Lists). Selena is now in the fourth spot below Demi Lovato , who got third place. While country superstar Taylor Swift nabbed the fifth spot.

On the Boys’ Hot List, it was Justin Bieber who’s in first place followed by Twilight star Taylor Lautner. In the third spot is Australian singer Cody Simpson. In fourth place is Nick Jonas, while the new American Idol Scotty McCreery finished in fifth place.

Many readers agreed with the overall ranking, but they specifically commented about Miley’s shocking rise to first place. Though most weren’t even a bit surprised that Justin Bieber came out on top as he IS the top-selling artist right now in his age bracket

 The 2011 Disney Legend Award will be given to our very own Lea Salonga and 11 other men and women who have rendered their talents in making Disney movies more appealing to the masses. This is 24 year tradition of the Walt Disney Company of giving recognition to those individuals who have in one way or another have made these Disney produced movies a huge success as echoed by the Disney President and CEO Bob Iger.

It will be hosted by noted television personality Tom Bergeron ( Host of Dancing with the Stars and America's Funniest Home Videos ) on Friday , August 19 in the Anaheim Convention Center Arena .

Chasters just can't deny the excitement when they heard Charice singing. An international singing sensation, who was hailed in the Philippines made us proud once more winning the J-Wave Mcdonald’s Tokio Hot 100 award for "Best New Artist".Charice was  nominated on the category of  Best new Artist. She edged the likes of Justin Beiber. I know J-Beiber just made a mistake on not appearing on Glee. It's just sad that Charice wasn't on the official list of Grammy Awards 2011 as rumors says she is nominated in the Category of best new female artist. Looking back on her performance last year, she is worthy of the picking.
